  • Fragment The Al-Qaeda connection

  • Excerpt:

Alaxandr opens the door and stands in a corridor with a couple of doors to the left and right. There is a staircase leading upwards at the end of the corridor. That is probably where the ambassador’s office is. He also has a secretary. Alaxandr carefully checks the first door, which is locked. The second one is open, but there’s nobody in there. They pass the kitchen, where the stack of dirty coffee cups, suggests that the tea-lady must’ve gone home for the day already. “Better,” Olena thinks. The third room is empty as well and they walk up to the last door. They can hear the sound of voices coming from behind it and they hear somebody laughing.
